Carol Anne Loop
Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Allen Loop. Loving mother of Cynthia Swartwout (Mike Zemlicka), Kristen Loop (Robb Dlugi), Victoria Loop (Sam Ingram) and Nicole Larsen. Cherished grandma and "Bummie" of Michael (Tiffany), Brock (Megan), Trevor (McKenzie) and Brittany (Will); Danielle; the late Desirae, Aaron, Tiana and Sierra; Cullen and Finn. Dear great grandma of Rory, Brooks, Taylor and Cameron; Ashton and Peyton; Sam; Xzayvier, Miryha, Myrical; Choice; Ameir, Nevaeh and Imani. Dear sister of Virginia (Tom) Della and the late Colette Limburg. Carol is also preceded in death by her parents Alex and Gertrude Limburg and her mother-in-law and father-in-law Fern and Everett Loop and longtime companion Robert Kanitz. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
Carol found great joy in life's simple pleasures and adventures. She enjoyed traveling, taking trips to the casino with dear friends JoAnn and Tony, playing bingo, and spending time in her garden. For many years she loved riding her Harley, and took pride in raising money for Hawgs for Dogs, an organization dedicated to providing assistance animals for the visually impaired. On warm summer evenings, she could often be found on her deck listening to a Milwaukee Brewers game. She also loved watching Packers games as well as Bucks, Badgers, and Marquette basketball games. Carol worked for Kohl's Food Store on South 27th St. and managed their Thrift Bakery for many years. She later went on to have a second successful career at Ladish Co.
A social and warm presence, Carol loved talking with her neighbors and sharing laughter with family and friends. Above all, she adored her daughters and held them close to her heart, always treasuring the time they spent together. She was a doting grandmother and great-grandmother, and never passed up an opportunity to tell her family and friends how much she loved them.
Visitation Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 12 Noon - 2 PM at St. Roman Parish, 1810 W. Bolivar Ave. Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 2 PM.
