Carol Jean Hennings
(nee Dallman) Went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late George Hennings. Loving mom of Deborah (Bob) Klaetsch, David (Rosemary) Hennings and Jeff (Sally) Hennings. Cherished grandma of Jennifer (Victor) Granada, Sarah (Dale) Drayna, Katie (Paul) Jablonski and Allison (Chad) Ruhland; Rachel Hennings; Scott (Megan) Hennings and Michelle (Dave) Hennings-Schindler. Treasured great-grandmother "GG" of Steven (Kari) Granada, Kimberly Granada and Amanda Granada; Austin Drayna; Sydney Meinholz and Hailey Meinholz, Ava Jablonski and Hudson Jablonski; Ryan Halada, Abigail Halada and Jameson Halada; Ashton Ruhland and Parker Hennings. Dear great-great-grandma of Teegan Granada and Eleanor Granada; Olivia Bailey. Dear sister of the late Robert (the late Betty) Dallman. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, December 16, 2022 from 4-8 PM. Visitation also Saturday 11:30 AM - 12 noon at St. Lucas Ev. Lutheran Church, 2605 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. Milwaukee. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Carol was a lifelong member of St. Lucas Church and was a founding member of the Pine Tree Needler Quilt Guild in Waushara Co. She also enjoyed cross stitch and traveled the Midwest attending quilting and cross stitch retreats. She worked for many years at St. Francis Hospital as an award-winning printer and was a member of the Graphics Association of Milwaukee. After retirement Carol and her husband George moved to Mt. Morris where they were active in the community there. They eventually returned to the Milwaukee area in the late 1990's. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol's name may be made to St. Lucas Church.
