Obituary

(nee Swan) Was Born To Eternal Life on Monday, January 2, 2006 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Habel. Best friend and loving sister of Jan Swan. Dear sister-in-law of Jeanette Swan and Janice Swan. Cherished aunt of Mark (Laurie), Guy (Pat), Craig, Cheryl (Gene) Balthazor, Scott (Bonnie), Jerry (Laurie), Brian (Pam), Rod (Jody), Lori, Rob (Kim), Lynn Rinderle, Kevin, David, (Mimi) and Eric. Carol is preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Ellen Swan, brothers; Richard, Warren and Gerald, sister-in-law Phyllis Swan and niece Judy (Greg) Bakke. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, other family, many dear friends and her cat, Missy, who will miss her "Muzzy." Visitation FRI 9 AM – 12 Noon at ST. THOMAS OF CANTERBURY EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 7255 W. Grange Ave. Greendale. Requiem Eucharist at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. Carol was a retiree of Metal Parts and Equipment Co. Inc. in Chicago, IL, where for over 30 years she served as the executive secretary to the president of the company. Her family would like to thank the loving staff at Lake Terrace-West in Franklin for their exceptional tender care.
