(nee Valenta) Age 69 years, of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, died at her home surrounded by her loving family Saturday, August 16, 2003. Born January 17, 1934 at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She married Philip Dornuf at Milwaukee, Wisconsin July 11, 1959. She is preceded in death by her husband, Philip, who died in 1991, her only sister, Joyce DeGaro, and her parents. She is survived by her children Danny (Barb) Lucas, Kathy Lucas, Timothy Lucas, Mary (Roy) Quady, Jane (Dennis) Peterke, Amy (Dan) Kapusta, Michael Dornuf, and John (Cynde) Dornuf; her grandchildren Amy (Ryan) Sparks, John Annis, Heather Lucas, Curtis and Greg Quady, Matthew, Katie and Andrew Kapusta; and her great-grandchildren Austin, Alissa and Lilly Sparks. She is further survived by other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home TUESDAY 4-7 PM. Funeral Services at 7 PM. Interment Wednesday 11 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery. (Please meet at the office inside the Nash St. Entrance.) Carol enjoyed spending time with her family especially her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included shopping, shopping and more shopping…as well as shopping. She valued her time playing board and card games with her many friends. She was well known as the "Sunshine Lady" of the Holiday Buddies at Zablocki Park, a senior women's club. Travel was a lifelong pastime.
