Carl W. O'Brien Was called home to God on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at age 86 years. Beloved husband for 64 years of Sarah (nee Ratayczak). Loving dad of Carol (Richard) Paap, Karen (Jeffrey) Brauch and the late Sharen (Bob) Boldt. Proud grandpa of Rick (Erin), Brian (the late Stephanie), Carl (Stephanie), Carla (Patrick), Jonathan (Kym) and Angela. Great grandpa of Blake, Mason, Shelby, Bailey, MacKenzie, Eleanor, Chelsea, Dustin and Dahlia. Dear brother of Kathleen (the late James) Alguire. Proceeded in death by his other siblings Robert (Lyn) O'Brien, Keith O'Brien,Evelyn Heth, and Kenneth (Dolores) O'Brien. Brother-in-law of Janet O'Brien. Also survived by other family and friends. Carl loved the outdoors, especially his trips to Canada. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and having a beer at the end of a long day. Carl was proud of his service in the Korean War as a medic in the United States Army. Visitation Thursday March 3, 2022 from 10:30AM to 12:00PM at St. Augustine of Hippo, 2530 S. Howell Avenue, Mass of Christian Burial 12:00PM. Interment and Military Honors to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
