Karwacki, Carl C. "Duna" Born to life November 18, 1927. Reunited with his beloved wife Louise and welcomed into God's Kingdom on January 29, 2011. Treasured and beloved father of Carl J. (Janis Smolinski), Karen (Bruce) Bethke, Mary Jane (Gary) Kapelis, Gina (Dennis) O'Donnell and Anthony (Mary Jo). Loving and proud JaJa of Daniel, Christine, Michael, Devin, Alison, Matthew, Brianna, Kenny and Samuel. Step JaJa of the late Emily, Veronica and Frances Bethke. Brother-in-law of Paul and Suzanne Ferr. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Carl will be greatly missed by his neighbors and friends on Delaware Ave. Carl proudly served his country as a United States Marine during WWII. He faithfully served and protected the City of Milwaukee as a police officer for 31 years. Carl was a member of the American Legion Post #415, member and past-president of the Giuseppe Garibaldi Society and the city of Milwaukee Retired Police Officers. Carl will be missed by many and treasured by all. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the "Stars and Stripes Honor Flight" would be appreciated.
