Born into Eternal Life on April 22, 2012 at the age of 89. Loving husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Lehmann) for 68 years. Loving father of the late Carl Jr. (Mary Konieczka), Mary (John) Eberhardy and Paul (the late Cynthia) Bruce. Dear grandfather of Theodore (Cheryl), Paul (Sara), Andrew (Tracy), David (Amy), Robert (Shelley), James (Sumra), Brenda, Paul Jr. (Kim) and Gregory. Dear great-grandfather of Able Seaman Andrea, Jacob, Damon, Robert, Michael, Katherine, Anna, Otealia, Bennett, Lucille Mae, Zuzu and Quinn. Carl is further survived by in-laws James (Ruth) Lehmann, Dolores (the late Art) Lehmann and Ruth (the late Don) Rudd, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carl is preceded in death by his parents William "Bennett" and Otealia, two sisters and four brothers. Carl proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 26th at THE CHURCH OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, 1023 E. Russell Ave, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment and military honors to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society are appreciated.
