Candace Mary Uecke

Age 80 went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2026. She was the loving mother of Jody (Anton) and Jennifer (Dominic); proud grandmother of Jeremy (Courtney) and Claire; and cherished great-grandmother of Conor and Maximus. She was also a dear aunt to Kim and Bryan. Candace was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Harry; her brother, Jim; and her beloved sister, Cynthia.

Known affectionately as "Candy," she had an eye for design and hands that could create a masterpiece. She held a degree in Human Services and brought creativity and care into everything she did. Candy had a passion for traveling and enjoyed many hobbies, including painting, crafting, collecting, and tending to her beloved Proven Winners flowers. She loved cats, fish fries, and swimming at the YMCA-always followed by coffee. She was a member of numerous groups and an enthusiastic participant in the Red Hatters, finding great joy in socializing with friends.

Her close friendships-from childhood through her years with neighbors, classmates, coworkers, and fellow club and travel companions-will all feel the sorrow of her passing.

She will be dearly missed.
