Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Age 42 years. Loving son of David and Patricia (nee Butler). Cherished brother of Lee (Amy) Hassel and Trish Hassel. Adored uncle of Ava, Ian and Bryan; Addy. Byron is survived and loved by many aunts, uncles, other family members and friends.
Byron was born in Greenfield and was a 2004 graduate of Greenfield High School. He was a longtime Special Olympian participating in Track and Field, Basketball and Bowling. Byron also achieved a Yellow Belt in Karate. Throughout his life Byron enjoyed going to Monster Truck Shows, his favorite truck being the "Grave Digger". He watched movies endlessly, loved motorcycle rides, hunting and fishing, spending time helping his brother, Lee. Some of his favorite foods were Jack's pepperoni pizza, Planters cheese balls and Coke. He will be remembered deeply by his family that loved him and missed by all the waitresses and nurses that adored him.
Visitation at the Funeral Home Monday, March 30, 2026 from 4-7 PM. Visitation also Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3100 W. Parnell Ave. Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
