Burton Keith Ottow, passed away on March 6, 2021 at the age of 89. Born in East Troy, Wisconsin, he was preceded in death by his infant son Gary, brother Darrell and sister Carlene. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Ann (nee Pekel) and their five children, Darick (Sharon) Ottow, Randall Ottow, Rita (Harold) Hickman, Susan (Dan) McDonell, and Bryon Ottow; five grandchildren, Nathan (Kia) Ottow, Jerad Ottow, Selena (Michael) Fratto, Nickolas (Angela) Trost, Zachary (fiancée Jamie) Ottow; four great grandchildren, Maebel and Blake Trost and Taylor and Grayson Ottow; sister Merlyn (Jerald) Riggs and other relatives.
Burton was a Korean war veteran in the Navy and served on the USS Midway for four years. He retired after 35 years as Sergeant with the Milwaukee Police Department. He lived an active life, enjoyed traveling with his wife Ann, hunting trips to Wyoming with his brother, motorcycling with his sons to many states including Alaska, golfing, body building, photography, and horseback riding. He was a licensed, aerobatic pilot and aircraft mechanic and was still flying at the age of 87.
A private memorial service will be held.
