Bu Meh passed on Saturday, November 18,2023 at Aurora St. Luke hospital due to cardiac arrest at the age of 67. She was surrounded by her loved ones during her final hours. Bu was born on January 1, 1956, in Shadaw City, Karenni State, Myanmar, to late Lu Yo and Nan Kyar. She was the youngest of four children, all three preceded her in death. She was married twice. Once to her late husband, Oo Reh in He Sha Leh village before marrying to her second husband, Nhay Na in Mae Sa Thet city. Bu will be remembered by her children; Nang Mang, Ple Reh, Neh Meh, Da Reh, Nga Reh (Nathapong Chay), Boe Meh, and Mee Na (Christina Na). She is kept in the loving memories of her grandchildren; Thong Chai, Ku Mo, Da Meh, Aung Thein,Soe Meh, Reh Meh, Shaw Reh, Lucky Chay, Janet Dareh, April Da, Thel Thel, Larry Chay, Niko Na, Emily Oo, Anna Da, Elisa Oo, Luiz Chay, and Steven Oo, and as well as her great grandchildren; Jaycee Chai and Yulianna Chai. Bu was a loving, caring, and devoted grandmother, mother, and friend. In her free time, she enjoyed socializing, gardening, crocheting, making cultural desserts, and listening to Sai Htee Saing and Sai Sai Maw songs. She loved watching YouTube Channels about foraging and catching frogs or fish by hand. It reminded her of the days she lived in Myanmar. She always surrounded herself with her children and grandchildren, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved. She lived a fulfilling life, enjoying the smallest thing and the company of her family. Although she has passed, Bu will forever live in the memories of her loved ones and friends.
