Obituary

Born to Eternal Life on December 6, 2020 at the age of 84, she now is with her Almighty Creator. Devoted wife to the late Joseph Jasinski for 54 years. Proud Mother of her two sons, Dennis and Tim and her only daughter and dedicated caregiver, Janet. Loving, caring Grandmother to Stephanie, Nicole, Paul, Ryan and Evan. And, one of a kind "Great Grammy" to her one and only, favorite baseball player and very special "Logie Joe". Beverly enjoyed a variety of activities. Crocheting, sewing, gardening, canning, baking, cooking, reading and attending her grandchildren's school and sports activities. She also attended live theatre performances and shopped countless craft fairs with her sisters. But most important to her were family gatherings where memories were made and traditions upheld. One tradition that came to be expected at every gathering was her famous fruit salad. Her career as a Respiratory Therapist at St. Francis Hospital involved the daily delivery of patient breathing treatments. Little did she know that her daughter Janet would follow in her footsteps delivering breathing treatments to her at home as a result of COPD and lung cancer. After retiring, she spent her days caring for children in her home. Loving and spoiling each one she showered them with instructional learning opportunities, toys and summer pool splashes. She loved her many pets. A countless variety of fish in multiple aquariums, several species of birds, African Grey Parrots, Love Birds and Cockatiels. And then there were her dogs. Duke, Candy, Sam, Muffin, Hershey, Minnie but none were as special as her "Teddy". A noteworthy indicator of her character was her positive "can-do" attitude and her courageous "fighting spirit". She never gave up and fought back from countless illnesses and surgeries. She spent her life "living" despite the many significant and severe medical burdens she carried. Beverly is survived by her youngest sister Marlis, sister-in-law Ellen, special friends, Justin, Teresa and Guillermo, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, by her beloved husband Joe ,and by 28 days, her middle sister Marlene, and brothers Dickie and Roger. She would want all of us to remember the good times, forget the bad, help one another and be strong and carry on. When read this quote by Dr. Seuss , "Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get the chance, take it! If it changes your life, let it! Nobody said it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it". And to that Bev replied "AMEN". "Fly high you yellow butterfly".
