Betty lived most of her life in the city of Milwaukee and loved being in the city. The last 6 years she lived in the Oconomowoc area, enjoying the more quiet atmosphere. Betty worked several jobs throughout her life, her last one being at Northwestern Mutual Life in downtown Milwaukee. She loved the ballet and that was a wonderful part of city life for her.

Betty LOVED to travel, both abroad and within the U.S. Up until the past 10 years, she would spend 4-6 weeks every January-February down in Mexico, enjoying beach walks, warm air and margaritas! She loved New York city and Boston. Both being her favorite cities in the U.S. She loved London, and took several trips to England, with both her family and with her travel buddy, Yvonne. One of her most favorite cities in the world was Venice. She talked about it often. She traveled to many other countries, including Central and South America. However, many, many great memories were made right here in Wisconsin, in Sister Bay, Door County. Each fall and summer family vacations were spent there.

Betty loved to cross-stich and created 100's of beautiful pictures throughout her adult life. Many are in the homes of her family members, but she would also donate many pieces to Good Will and St Vinnies. They are blessings to have in our homes Precious memories. She was very talented.

Betty also loved to bake, both sweet treats and many different types of breads. Cinnamon swirl bread is one of the favorites of our family, and a sweet memory of sitting in her kitchen with a warm, toasted slice with butter and a cup of tea or coffee. Betty loved her family deeply, and blessed us in many ways. She was a gracious lady and loved to be with family. She will be missed deeply.
