(nee Stehle) Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2005 at Ruth Hospice in West Allis at the age 96 years. Bertha is preceded in death by her husband Matthias and her son Wilfred. She will be missed by her son, Gary (Joan) Maier and daughter Anita (John) Hoetker. Grand children Jeni (Kurt) Ortlieb, Cindi Maier, Kati (Eric) Roepke and Phil (Susie) Maier, Anton and Alan Hoetker. Great-grandchildren Jon, Mitchell, Morganne, Cole, Casey and Natalie. She is also survived by her sisters in Germany, Thea Debene and Maria Stehle, other relatives and friends.
