Berta L. Garay

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, December 15, 2024, age 82 years. Beloved mother of Osmin (Cielo) Fuentes, Sergio (Rosa Aguilar) Garay, Luz (Christian) Castellano, Celina (Paul) Denson. Cherished grandmother of Ashley, Alyssa, Alanis, Alexa, Patricia, Laurie, Paul Jr., Sergio, Jasmine, and Daniel. Further survived by many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Atilio and Patricia Garay.

Berta loved cooking, baking, and gardening, sharing all her works with her family. She loved listening to music and dancing. Berta was very kind and dedicated to her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was certainly the head of the family as a hard-working mother, always putting her children first.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Additional Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with prayers to be held thereafter. Interment to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
