Sister of Ronald (Cathie) and Gerald (Eileen) Pankowski. She was the cherished grandmother of Jeremy and Kathryn Olsen; Cecelia and Madeline Story; Emily, Ariana and Peter Hall; and Steffen, Alexandra and Courtney Olsen; and great grandmother of Jacob Olsen. Bernice was a 1949 alumna of Girls Tech High School. She is a retiree of the Milwaukee Public Library, in which she loved to read.
