Stachowiak, Bernice C. "Bernie" (nee Voigt) Went to join her beloved son, David Stachowiak, on Thursday, January 5, 2012, age 79 years. Loving wife for 54 years of Marion "Myron". Loving mom of Diane (Gary) Bruski, Paul (Shirley) Stachowiak, Sara (Rick) Haertl and Carol (Robert) Pruitt. Cherished twin sister of Virginia Plageman. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, other family and friends. Bernice was the American Legion Auxiliary Poppy Shop Supervisor and Hospital Representative at the Zablocki VA Medical Center for over 20 years, the American Legion Post 444 Auxiliary President for over 25 years, the Sons of the American Legion Advisor and a former Girl Scout leader. She was a tremendous volunteer and always willing to give of her time to help someone else. A special thank you to Dr. Claire Fritsche for her special care over the years.
