"Ben"

Ben was taken up in the arms of Jesus Christ on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the age of 53 with his family by his side.

Ben is survived and will be forever remembered by, his loving parents Gloria A.(the late Steve) Foti and Ronald B. (the late JoAnn) Johnson, his siblings Jason (Ana) Johnson, Sharon Jury and Jonathan (Natasha) Johnson, his nieces and nephews Kayla, Daniel, Exavier, Elijah and Nevaeh who will miss him dearly, along with close-knit aunts, uncles, cousins, his girlfriend Destiny Prestby and many good friends.

Known for his kind heart, quick wit, and infectious smile, Ben was a 20 year volunteer with Festa Italiana in Milwaukee. He was passionate about his hobbies and enjoyed all kind of sports, mostly he was an enthusiastic fan of NASCAR Racing, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. He loved the Sci-Fi series Stargate and all Sci-Fi for that matters, he was an avid fantasy & sci-fi book reader and he played Dungeons & Dragons for a long time with his nephew Daniel and his friends.

In remembrance of Ben, the family shares this heartfelt message:

"Ben, your loving presence and tender care enriched our lives beyond measure. You leave behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire us all. In our hearts forever, rest in peace, dear Gentle Ben".

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staffs at Water's Edge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Kenosha and Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital for their care and compassion.

Benjamin's family will host a memorial visitation on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 10-11 AM at St. Matthias Church, 9306 W Beloit Rd, Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. There will be a celebration of Ben's life to follow at Rainbow Park Area #1. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
