Benito Elizondo passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2017 at his home for the past few months. He was the devoted husband of Marlene Elizondo, who selflessly cared for him until her recent passing. He was the beloved father of the recently deceased Virginia Elizondo. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Michael) Goetzman, Benito J (Patricia) Elizondo, and David (Kristin) Elizondo and sister Mary (Elizondo) Oman. He was the proudest grandpa of Erica, Christopher, Maddie, Maya, and Matteo. Benito will be loved, remembered and missed by his extended family and friends. A special thank you to his caregiver family at his recent home, Going The Distance II; Jennifer, Gwen "Maria", Patricia, Tanya and Sonya. Benito came to Wisconsin from Texas as a teenager. He arrived with nothing and leaves us after creating a loving family with his wife of 67 years, building his own homes in Menomonee Falls and Adams Wisconsin, and starting a successful landscaping business that he owned until his retirement. Benito loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and especially being surrounded by family. Dad, you will always be remembered for your stories, your laughter, and most importantly, your love for your family. You will be missed by all who knew you. Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, January 20, 2017 from 12:30PM-2:00PM. Funeral Services at 2:00 PM. Benito and Marlene will be laid to rest together on January 21st, 11AM at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, WI .
