Barbara H. Porter

Born to Eternal Life peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2023. Age 84 years. Lifelong partner of Chief Porter. Cherished mom of Joyce Porter (the late Santos Gonzales), Dolores Porter (Jose Canales), Patricia Porter and Mark (Dawn) Porter. Treasured "Cookie Grandma" of Yolanda (Pree) White and Dolina Salazar; the late Warren Young Jr., Joanna Garcia, Cassandra Porter, Michael Canales and Crystal Canales; Sabrina Carrillo, Tiffany Carrillo, David Carrillo (Tabitha Rodriguez), Shannon Carrillo and Jonathan Hennings; Nick Porter, Danielle Porter (Fiancé Brent Weber) and Kayla (Steven) Morrison. Dear sister of the late Jerry (the late Kathy) Wronski and Patricia (the late Donnie) Czerwinski. Barbara is survived by 44 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, other family members and friends. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 10AM - 12 Noon at The Gathering Place, 11530 W. Layton Ave. Greenfield. Funeral Service at 12 noon with interment to follow at Forest Home Cemetery. A reception will follow the cemetery services back at The Gathering Place.

Barbara was a 1957 graduate of Pulaski High School. She was a retiree of Hot Point after 14 years of service. She was active with her faith and prayer life. Barbara's hobbies included crafting, sewing and woodworking and Parcheesi. What Barbara loved most was spending time with her family. Whenever a family member or friends needed a prayer, advise or a thoughtful wish, Barbara was always there. She was not afraid to tell you how she felt but your secrets were always safe with her.
