IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barbara Lee
Bothe
February 16, 1940 – December 23, 2023
Made her entrance on February 16, 1940. Sister extraordinary to Beverly and David. Possessor of star quality to rival that of another Barbie and far too unique to fit easily into any pedestrian slot. Forget the various work positions-importantly, she did volunteer work in the cow booth at the Minnesota State Fair. Relished her archeological expedition -despite mice in the tent-and her related efforts at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Did splendid photography and made a mad martini. Drove others up a wall with her last minute packing before flights to Europe. Rendered holidays paradise when shared with her. Won raves from viewers for her fun performance in a short feminist film. Was a charter member of Prince of Peace Church, when it worked out of the Airway Movie Theater. Spunky, even on a sick bed. Done in by some bad health factors in combination. Made her exit on December 23, and just thereafter the strains of "Silent Night, Holy Night..." came from a movie on TV. Sleep in Heavenly Peace, darling.
