Cherished grandpa of Tony Jr. Dear brother-in-law of the late William (Barbara) Hanfeld, Carolyn Signer, Joseph Hanfeld, Lois (Bernard) Farrey and Norman (Mary Jean) Hanfeld. Preceded in death by his sister Nancy (the late Thomas) Miller and parents August and Agnes Selan. Augie proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was retiree of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel after 37 years in the circulation department. He was a life time member of George Washington Bay View Post #180, American Legion and a seven time Past-Commander of George Washington Post #2, American Legion. Throughout his life Augie enjoyed bowling, baseball, gardening, visiting with neighbors and his dogs.
