Audrey June Sobczak, a beloved and cherished member of her family, peacefully passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on November 8, 1937, in Milwaukee, WI, Audrey was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was married to the late Richard Sobczak.

Audrey dedicated her career to record keeping in the banking industry, working diligently for 25 years at Firstar Bank. Her commitment to her work and attention to detail made her an invaluable asset to the organization. Audrey's colleagues remember her as a loyal and dependable team member, always willing to lend a helping hand.

Outside of her professional life, Audrey found joy in simple pleasures. She had an undeniable talent for baking and delighted in creating delicious treats for her loved ones. Her kitchen was always filled with the delicious aroma of freshly baked goods, and her family eagerly awaited her mouthwatering creations. Audrey's passion for baking was reflected in her numerous awards at the state fair baking competitions.

In her free time, Audrey found solace in the captivating world of literature. She could often be found with her nose buried in a book, engrossed in tales that transported her to different places and times. Audrey had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and delighted in learning new things.

Audrey's love for cinematic storytelling was another source of joy in her life. Whether it was a classic film or a new release, eagerly awaiting the start of the next cinematic adventure. Audrey appreciated the art of filmmaking and cherished the emotions and memories it evoked.

Above all, Audrey was a loving and devoted mother. Her children, the late Michael (Donna) Sobczak, Linda (Phillip) Meyer and David (Cindy) Sobczak, held a special place in her heart. Audrey's guidance, support, and unconditional love shaped her children into the remarkable people they are today. Audrey's nurturing spirit and unwavering love will forever be cherished by her grandchildren, Kenneth Sobczak, Justin Sobczak, Hannah Eldridge, Kristyn Halverson, Joshua Sobczak, Adam Meyer. She will be dearly missed by other surviving relatives, including her sister, Barbara, her five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

May Audrey June Sobczak rest in eternal peace, her memory forever imprinted in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. In this time of mourning, may her family find solace in the cherished memories and the love they shared with her.
