IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arthur James
Wille
July 6, 1947 – March 4, 2023
Wille, Arthur. Born to Eternal Life March 4, 2023 at the age of 75.
Art honorably served in the US Army with tours to Vietnam and Korea. Artist extraordinaire, landscaper, seasonal and holiday decorator expert. Our uncle was a lover of all things artistic. Whether it be a simple pencil sketch or a giant sand or snow sculpture requiring a team to design and build, Unc was always all in on doing it.
He was always ready to offer up help and tips to complete any task or projects that any one of the family members had going on, but at times it was either his way or the highway! Additionally, there was no such thing as flat -- everything had to POP! Whether it be a wreath or color choices for a kitchen wall, POP was a must!
Uncle lived in many places, and no matter where he was he had an insane ability to make that place unique. From Grafton to Vegas and all points in between, he was able to bring any vibe he wanted into that house. His decorating style was fondly referred to as "Arthurizing!"
Unc was an avid art collector -- especially his own! Sometimes if you were nice, he'd let you have a print or two. He was always prepping his portfolio for an art show, but none of the nieces or nephews could figure out which art show he was perpetually prepping for!
Art influenced everyone he came in contact with, whether a stranger or family member, he was always there for them. At times it was a bit difficult to get his motivation going, once it happened he was all business -- sometimes even referred to as the "task master!"
He is survived by his sister Sharlene Hill (nee Wille), nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents Howard and Emily Wille and his sister Sheila Raabe (nee Wille).
Uncle left his indelible mark on the world and we all will miss him. Art's family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff of Community Care Organization, Inc. in Brookfield, Robin's Landing in New Berlin and Kensington Care in Waukesha for their compassionate care.
