Mondo was a U.S. Army veteran proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army. He was a retiree of Shell Oil Co. after 30 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Giuseppi Garibaldi Society and Louis Travis Amvets Post #14. Through out his life Mondo enjoyed playing golf and entertaining family, friends and the troops while in the service on the accordion.
