(nee Zelazoski) Of Greendale, WI, formerly of Antigo, WI. Beloved wife of the late John Baraniak. Loving mother of Stephen (Jean) Baraniak, Susan (James) Mostowik and the late Dean Baraniak. Mother-in-law of the late Mary Ann Baraniak. Cherished grandmother of Gina (Nick) Peterson and Christopher (Erin) Mostowik. Step-grandmother of Brianna and Stephanie. Dear great-grandmother of Derek, Madison, Abby and Maggie. Sister of Ronald, Keith (Pat) and Leonard Zelazoski. Sister-in-law of Judy Kivlin. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Arlene was a graduate of Langlade County Normal School, a school teacher in a one room school house in Clover Valley Elementary. She married the love of her life, John, in Antigo in 1953. They moved to Milwaukee and started their family. Arlene retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1997 after 30 plus years of service. Her interests included sewing, needle work and she was active in her church as a bereavement minister. Arlene made several mission trips, traveling to Europe and the Middle East.
Visitation on Friday, February 13, 2026, 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3100 W. Parnell Avenue, Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Private inurnment Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
