Arleita Dawn Gungl (nee Haertl) Reached her Eternal Home on Monday September 20, 2021 at the awesome age of 88. Loving wife of Josef Gungl. Cherished mom of Dawn (Jim) Leys, Lisa (Carlos) Rodriguez, and Rosemarie Gungl. Beloved grandmother of Cecilia (Daniel) Rodriguez-Scalish, Camellie (Caleb) Zovar, Carlos Rodriguez Jr., Angela (Collin) Gowdy, Kitty Leys (David McSpadden), Josef Gungl, Samuel Gungl, and Benjamin Gungl. Dear great-grandmother of Zion, Isabella, Noah, Judah, Mercy Rae, Olivianna, Grace, Nehemiah, and Amilianna. She will be missed by many family and friends. Arleita loved drawing and painting, especially historical barns. She was politically active and loved getting responses from her letters sent to the senators. Arleita grew up in Milwaukee and as a teenager, loved going to White Towers for milkshakes and going dancing at the Eagles Club. Her greatest achievements were marrying a wonderful husband-Josef Gungl- and having a beautiful family that she could pass down her artistic knowledge to. Until we meet again, you will always be in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25 from 9:30AM-11AM at Forest Hill Memorial Park (3301 E. Forest Hill Ave, Oak Creek 53154).
