Spraitz, Anton E. "Tony" Preceded in death by the love of his life and wife, June Rose Spraitz (nee Wells). Loving and awesome dad of Cindy (Frank Pugliese) Spraitz, Pamela (Dalen) Heinzen and Joel Spraitz. Proud grandpa of Heather Kamnetz, Luke (Rachel) Kamnetz, ClayEli (Betsy) Kamnetz, Delainie and Darylann Heinzen. Dear great-grandpa of Janelle, Eli, Kourtney, A.J., Tara, Kallista and Abigail. Dear great-great grandpa of Nevaeh and Nakiah. Dear brother of Alee DuGrenier and Ray (Joanne) Spraitz. Honorary "father" of Christopher Barbe, best buddy of Darrell and Arline Heinzen Further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Tony earned a degree in baking and enjoyed his craft for many years; he is a Johnson Controls retiree and also worked as a custodian for St. Aloysius Catholic School. Tony was a proud and long standing member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Cardinal Stritch Council 4614 and member of the 4th degree Assembly No. 3210 at the Basilica of St. Josaphat, and served as an usher at St. Veronica Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the staff of the Wheaton Franciscan Medical Clinic, the Aurora Heart Hospital, and the Vitas Ruth Hospice House for their gentle, loving care- you are all truly angels.
Visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 3:00-7:00 PM, prayer service at 5 PM. Mass Of Christian Burial, Monday April 15, at ST. VERONICA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4001 So. Whitnall Ave., at 10:00 AM (please meet at church at 9:45 AM). Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In honor of Tony, please wear something orange, his favorite color.
