Passed away on Friday October 15, 2021 at age 95. Loving husband of the late Shirley (nee Roepke) Purpero. Beloved significant other of Betty Rasmussen. Cherished father of Rosann (nee Purpero) Stoecker and Charles (Lynn) Purpero. Dear grandpa of Laurie (Lou) Chojnacki, Chad (Cheri) Meyer, Christopher (Megan) Stoecker, Christy (Alan) Kaliebe, and Stephanie Purpero (Jake). Doting great grandpa of Haley, Mikayla, Gracie, Caden, Wyatt, Nathan, Quinn, Graham, Benjamin, and Dominic. Dear brother of Caroline (Ray) Besasie, Rose (the late Joe) Spang, the late Phillip (Rosemary) Purpero, and the late Salvatore (Lucille) Purpero. Cherished step dad of Todd Rasmussen and family. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Anthony was a proud member of the V.F.W. Post 6498 & Auxiliary. The family wanted to thank Seasons Hospice, and dear friends Lana, Shelly, and Sharon Harris for the amazing care they took of Anthony. Visitation for Anthony will be held Sunday October 24 from 10AM-12PM at Prasser Kleczka Funeral Home South Suburban Chapel. Funeral service to follow at 12PM.
