Age 84, passed away on Tuesday June 7, 2005 after a brief illness. He was born in Milwaukee on March 1, 1921, son to the late Michael and Frances Franszczak. He was united in marriage to Dorothy on July 28, 1945 who preceded him in death just four months ago. Tony was a life-long resident of Milwaukee, a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and a veteran of the U S Marine Corps awarded the Purple Heart for service on the Pacific front during World War II. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed angling with his wife, children, and grandchildren during his healthier years. He will be sadly missed by daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Edward Beale, daughter Fran Fargen, son and daughter-in-law Mark and Nancy Franszczak, and son Paul Franszczak; grandchildren Jeffrey, Jennifer, Brian and Kyle; great-grandchildren Jamie, April and Derek; and nieces and nephews. There will be visitation Friday, June 10, 2005 from 10 AM – 11AM at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CHURCH, S. 63rd and W. Oklahoma Ave. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
