(nee Sauvé) was reunited with her husband, Donald, as she peacefully entered into eternal life on March 31, 2024. Loving mother of Dana (David) Eick and Caron Trataris. Beloved grandmother of Ambrose (Vera) Trataris Hannush and Sean Trataris. Cherished sister of Veronica (the late Gordon) Baker. Further survived by nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and many dear friends.

Anne's life was full and ever changing. She was a lifelong learner and completed both a Bachelor of Philosophy at the University of Detroit as well as a Masters of Education in Computers from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA. As an educator she worked with young students throughout the Milwaukee area, as well as with adults at Milwaukee Area Technical College as an instructor for English as a Second Language and American Citizenship.

Anne enjoyed traveling with family, friends, and relatives throughout the United States and various countries. She especially enjoyed her years in Arizona, when she had time to further develop her love of the arts: painting, quilting, and later wood carving.

Anne loved celebrating the 4th of July with her husband Don. Every year they welcomed family and friends from all over the country to celebrate at their house. Anne also loved Vernor's Ginger Ale, her hometown-the City of Detroit, family summer vacations at Burroughs Farms, and attending Canadian family reunions where she reconnected with her French-Canadian heritage.

Anne was lovingly involved with her two daughters throughout the years. She was a Girl Scout leader, she volunteered with their activities, tallied scores for swim and diving meets, and baseball games, she stood by watching countless riding and skating practices and competitions. At all stages of her life she tirelessly gave of herself, enriching the lives of family members, friends, students and work colleagues. Her contributions to each of our lives remains a cherished gift.

Memorial Visitation on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 10:30AM to 11:00AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at Milwaukee Catholic Home, in St. Anne Chapel, 2462 N Prospect Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53211. Private interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
