Ann Kosewski
(nee Krygoski) peacefully entered eternal life at the age of 98 on January 21, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was cherished by her loving late husband Ralph for more than 64 years and their six children: Paul (Deb), Philip (Tess), Judith, the late Joseph (Nichol), Kevin (Shelley), and Mary (Patrick); Grandma AMK to ten grandchildren: Sara (Tyler), Jacci (DJ), Nicholas (Megan), Sam, the late Tommy, Nathan (fiancé Dani), Matthew (Chelsea), Ann (Matt), Sarah (Tom), and Molly (Jack); GG to nine. She will also be missed by sisters-in-law Rita (the late Jack) Kovach, Audrey (Ollie) McClure, and many nieces and nephews.
Ann was born June 22, 1927 in Sobieski, MI and raised on the family farm. She graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Marinette in 1945. After graduation, she worked for the Telephone Company, General Electric, and Lloyd Manufacturing. On May 9, 1953, she married Ralph Kosewski in Menominee, MI and moved to Milwaukee where they would raise their family. In the mid-1970s, Ann went back to school and became a dedicated nurse, working at Trinity Hospital, St. Ann's Home, and then St. Joan Antida Nursing Home, where she finished her career.
In retirement, Ann and Ralph enjoyed the company of their family and friends in Milwaukee and Upper Michigan. They cherished winters spent in Brooksville, FL, making new friends and having the opportunity to explore new hobbies. Ann was a lifelong learner: she honed her skills in baking, cooking, and crafts aplenty. She will be fondly remembered for teaching her children and grandchildren how to make pierogi and share oplatek on Christmas Eve. A deeply devoted Catholic and proud American, she will be remembered for her feisty personality and positive outlook when presented with life's challenges.
We thank all of the care professionals and friends who helped Ann these last few years. She was grateful for your help and friendship and prayed for all of you each day.
Visitation at the Funeral Home Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 4-8 PM. Rosary Service at 7 PM. Visitation also Wednesday 10-11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 3222 S. 29th St. Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ann's name may be made to the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida or Zilber Family Hospice.
