Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved dad of Joesph (Lori) Collazo, Robert Collazo, and Lisa (Jeffrey) Derkson. Cherished grandpa of Meghann, Emilee, Madeline, Andrew, Alyssa, Caitlin, Travis, Justin, and Jared. Great grandpa of Elijah, Fiona, Devon, Dakota, Mason, Ryland, Ruby, Carson, Kyler, Max, Chloe, Gavin, Ivy, and Kamryn. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Andy was born in Utuado Puerto Rico, and was raised on a farm where they grew tobacco, coconuts and was a member of the local 4H. At the age of 19 he moved to Milwaukee. Andy loved gardening, taking special care of his tomatoes, grapes and pear tree. He greatly enjoyed taking care of his dogs and dancing. He was known around the neighborhood as being a friendly walker that always said hi to people. He was a longtime resident of Bay View and loved being part of the community. Andy graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 1981 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. He retired from South Division High School after 16 years of service as a paraprofessional bi-lingual teacher's aid.
