Smith, Andrew J. Andrew John Smith, age 45, of Milwaukee died unexpectedly on May 7, 2017. Andy is survived by his wife of 14 years, Bridget Homstad Smith. Loving son of Ruth and Dennis Smith of Janesville, WI; dear brother and brother-in-law to Chris and Brooke (Burnham) Smith of Onalaska, WI and uncle to Ellie (age 14), Sebastian (age 12) and Hudson (age 7). Loving grandson of Eleanor Cords of Tucson, AZ and Lucille Smith of Janesville, WI. Nephew of Jane Cords and Jo Novara of Tucson. Loving son-in-law to Maureen and Jon Homstad, Eau Claire, WI, and brother-in-law to Miah (Homstad) and V. Kelley Armour, of Green Oaks, IL and uncle to their son Wyatt (6). Andy is preceded in death by his grandfathers Erwin Cords and Bernard Smith; Uncle Allen (Snuffy) Smith and Mary (Bier) Smith. Andy was born on July 11, 1971, in Janesville, Wisconsin, and graduated from Janesville Craig High School. He attended Carroll College. In 1996 he moved to Milwaukee, where he worked for more than 20 years in Legal and Office management for Hinshaw and Culbertson LLP. Visitation THURSDAY, May 11, 2017 from 11-1PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service at 1 PM. Private interment at Prairie Rest Green Burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wisconsin Humane Society Milwaukee Campus or Pine Lake Limnology Fund are appreciated.
