Ritter, Andrew "Mike". Born to Eternal Life January 10, 2026 at the age of 79. Loving husband of the late Ursula (nee Betley) for 50 years. Cherished father of Jill (Ralph) Ritter Catizone, Cindy (Lary Kaleta) Ritter and Lisa (Andy) Pilarski. Step-grandfather of Bennett Kaleta and Gwen Kaleta. Brother of Carol (the late Fred) Znider. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mike obtained his high school diploma from Mendel Catholic High School in Chicago, where he ran Track, and his bachelors as well as his MBA from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. He worked for Mallory, then Vishay, and Mallory again for 15 years, after which he was the National Sales Manager for Charles Industries, then went into business for himself. He was active in the Knights of Columbus, an usher for 40 years as well as an integral part of the Job Ministry at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Hoffman Estates, IL. He was a friend of Bill, and active in AA for over 40 years -- his dedication to the program touched countless lives through his sponsorship and support. Mike enjoyed golfing and fishing, and was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago White Sox, as well as a growing appreciation for the Milwaukee Brewers. He was a kind, selfless person, and a dedicated father and husband. He was known to be a snappy dresser, and lived his mantra of "Thanks for all that you continue to do for others," closing his ongoing emails to a list of over 140 recipients of his prayers, bible verses, and reflections.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Service at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon St, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169, at a future date. Please check back for more information as it becomes available.
