In Loving Memory of Andy Cieciwa

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the unexpected and sudden passing of Andy Cieciwa. Andy was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man whose life revolved around his family.

Andy shared a deep, unwavering love with his soulmate and wife, Tina. Their bond was built on friendship, laughter, and steadfast support through every season of life. Together, they created a home filled with love and stability for their children, Drew and McKayla.

As a father, Andy was everything his children needed - a protector, a teacher, and their biggest supporter. He was endlessly proud of Drew, 15, and McKayla, 12, and poured his heart into being present for them, whether it was guiding them through life's challenges, cheering them on, or simply spending time together as a family. His love for them was constant and unconditional.

Andy also valued spending time with his parents Jeff and Cheryl, his in-laws John and Sue, his brother Dan and his wife Jennifer, brother-in-law Joe and his wife Staci, and his multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son Aaron.

He was born and raised in Milwaukee and loved his hometown. Andy graduated from St. Augustine Grade School in Bay View and was a 1992 graduate of Thomas More High School. He earned his Bachelors degree in Journalism UWM Times all four years.

Upon graduation, Andy started his career at WTMJ 4 where he was lovingly known as the "Polish Prince". He was also blessed to start Fox 47 in Lansing, Michigan before heading back to WTMJ 4 here in Milwaukee. In 2013, Andy moved over to WISN 12 where he was proud to be the Assignment Desk Manager and also got to publish several articles online.

When he was not working and spending time with his family, Andy was passionate about fantasy baseball, fantasy football, cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and spending time in Door County and at Boulder Lake.

Andy's passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved him most. Tina, Drew, and McKayla are now facing not only the deep emotional loss of a husband and father, but also the unexpected financial burdens that come with such a sudden tragedy.

A GoFundMe has been created to help ease that burden and provide support for Tina and the kids as they navigate this painful and uncertain time. All donations will go toward funeral expenses, daily living needs, and helping ensure stability for Drew and McKayla as they move forward without their dad.
