"Toots" is survived by brothers Louis (Gloria) and Anthony (Barbara) and sisters Frances (Hap) Smith and Cecilia Halle and her sister in law Rose Lewko.
She was married to Theodore A. Rauman on September 14, 1957. He preceded her in death in January 1995. Her grieving family includes son Thomas (Eileen) Rauman, daughters Debra (Richard) Mickelsen, Theodoria (James) Joerres, grandchildren Jeffrey (Laura), David (Pam), Karlie (Doug), Erik, Jacob, and Madelyn and great grandchildren Dylan, Andrew, Justin, Ben, Morgan, and Frances. She will be missed by her many nephews and nieces, friends and neighbors.
Memorial Visitation FRIDAY, November 10, 2017 at the Funeral Home from 3-5 PM. Memorial Service at 5 PM. Alvina loved adventures. She was fiercely protective of those she took under her wing. She was proud to be a nurse and had worked at many Milwaukee area hospitals and at the former Regency Terrace Home, making many good friends along the way. She volunteered at the Blood Center and at the Mitchell International Airport where she was very proud of her certification as a Milwaukee Ambassador. Please consider donating blood in Alvinias memory. Alvina was a support for many and encouraged or prodded when necessary, with a tell it like it is gumption and a bit of naughtiness. She liked to have fun, and genuinely liked a lot of people, knowing of their concerns and families. She loved her family and good friends.
