IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alvina C.
Kurszewski
August 27, 1930 – August 7, 2024
Our mother, Alvina Christine (nee Ganski) Kurszewski went to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. She joins our Dad, Chester and many other loved family members. Alvina was a young woman when she met Chet the Spring of 1950. They were married that fall and were able to celebrate over 45 years together before he passed in 1996.
All Alvina really cared about was her family and her church. She and Chet never missed a family occasion and over the years, as she was a stay at home mother we could always count on home made meals and desserts (Dad's favorites). She loved her bargain shopping, gardening and many trips to Vegas with him.
Alvina is survived by her children; Marlene (the late John) Kalcich, Joani (Rick) Kowaleski, Audrey (Jim) Rosciszewski, Sharon (Jim) Koier and Kevin (Therese) Kurszewski. Grandchildren; Ann (Brad) Seidel, Kate (Kevin) Olson, Kurt (Stefanie) Kowaleski, Alan Kowaleski, the late Kelly Fohrenkamm, Cheryl (Scott) Louden, Keith (BillieJo) Rosciszewski, Greg (Lauren) Koier, Gary Koier, Sarah (Steven) McCoy, Kayla (Nathan) Morff and Emily Kurszewski. She also had many great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Alvina came from a large family and her siblings were very special to her as was Dad's side of the family.
