Keiker, Alvin. H.

Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 28, 2023, age 76 years. Loving husband of the late Roberta A. "Bobbi" Keiker for 43 years. Cherished father to Alexis Keiker and the late Kristofer Keiker. Dear brother of Fran (Bob) Cummings. Son of LaVerne Marjorie (nee Urban). Further survived by nieces, other relatives, lifelong friends and his best buddy Smokey (his cat).

Alvin was a very kind, generous man but was also incredibly stubborn. Alvin worked for A.O. Smith/Tower Automotive most of his life up until retirement. He loved his family and all the family pets he had throughout the years. He loved walking the late family dog RoBear. Most recently he lived with his cat Smokey who he was spoiling with all the best cat toys/presents.

Alvin loved cooking, gardening, going to see movies in the theatre, going out to restaurants, and lending a helping hand to the people he cared about. Alvin was often cooking in the kitchen with his late son Kris. The two of them were always trying to impress the rest of the family with their cooking skills as well as compete with each other. He loved gardening his pepper plants which were often incorporated into his cooking. Alvin was a private man that really loved spending time with his loved ones but also enjoyed spending time alone. If you could get him in social situations, he often became the life of the party.

Private Services will be held at a later date. The family would appreciate any memorials be given to animal shelters of your choice.
