Dear son of Alfred and Alice (deceased). Beloved brother of Nancy R. Putz (Gregory).
Born to Life on June 10, 1953, Taken to the Hereafter on January 22, 2021.
Aldo Barged his way past St. Peter through the Pearly Gates on the afternoon of January 22, well before the Devil knew he was gone. His sudden passing left his family, friends and neighbors in a state of shock that such a robust guy could have left so quickly. Gramma Emmy, Grampa Otto, Alfred and Alice were probably pleasantly surprised to see him.
Although he presented a gruff exterior, he had a heart of pure gold. He would pretend to grumble about assisting his family, friends and neighbors in their projects. But Aldo never failed to provide for them in crunch time and always went beyond the call of duty to help. He could be found on his front porch, kicking out jams and sipping a brew with his dog at his side.
Aldo was a simple and easily understood man who followed the Golden Rule. He enjoyed the simple things that make life worthwhile. Al could spin a yarn. He never failed to call on neighbors in need and could often be found "fence talking" with them about neighborhood happenings. His top priority was his family and beloved dog Hannah. In fact, he had just spoken to his sister, Nancy before being rushed to the hospital. His last words to the EMT's were to take care of Hannah.
The Outdoors and his love of animals was another constant in Al's life. He spent much time hunting at Tommy's farm and was also a regular at Tom's annual summer celebration, "FeederFest". Al shared a lot of happy times with his friends, hunting, fishing, playing Sheepshead and watching sports. He was a fan of every Milwaukee and Wisconsin team. He was also a Cudahy Packer, having graduated from CHS in 1971.
Al's family has planned a graveside interment service which will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Arlington Park Cemetery, 4141 S. 27th St, Greenfield at 11:00 AM. Attendees meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 10:45 AM to proceed to the gravesite. Please bring lawn chairs, if needed. Al's celebration will be held at Joe's K-Ranch, 4840 S. Whitnall Ave, Cudahy, from 12:00-4:30 PM. If unable to attend the service, feel welcome to attend the celebration of Al's life. Al's family would like to thank everyone who has been a part of his life's journey. Although Al is gone, he will never be forgotten or replaced.
