Obituary

Went to join his beloved wife, Ona (nee Martinetto), on Saturday, September 26, 2009 age 88 years. Loving father of Frank (Jane), John (Joanne) Ferraro and Joy (David) Hall. Cherished grandpa of Katherine, Nick and Anne Ferraro; Justin and Megan Hall. Proud other papa of Mary, Frankie and the late John Francis. Also survived by other family and many friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Tuesday, September 29, 4-8 PM, Garibaldi procession with a prayer service to follow at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, September 30, 11 AM at the CHURCH of the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, S. Kinnickinnic & E. Russell Av. (Please meet at the Church at 10:45 AM) Entombment and military honors to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A.J. was a U.S. Army veteran receiving the Bronze Star serving during World War II in the Third Army under General Patton. He was past-commander of Louis-Travis Amvets Post No. 14, former owner of the A.J. Ferraro Insurance Agency. A.J. also was a life member of the Giuseppe Garibaldi Society and past board president and former member of Tuckaway Country Club.
