A.J. was a U.S. Army veteran receiving the Bronze Star serving during World War II in the Third Army under General Patton. He was past-commander of Louis-Travis Amvets Post No. 14, former owner of the A.J. Ferraro Insurance Agency. A.J. also was a life member of the Giuseppe Garibaldi Society and past board president and former member of Tuckaway Country Club.
