Saturday March 29, 2014, age 93 years. Beloved husband for over 66 years of Agnes. Proud father of Christopher (Beth), Joseph (Vera), Margaret (Henry Jr.) Davis, Mary (Tom Lencheck), Anne (Steve) Asplund, Kathy (Bob)Wedge and Ami (Jon) Steppe. Cherished grandfather of Samantha (Jeff) Lindemeyer, Andrea (Ricky) Castillo, Henry Davis III., Jessica and Devin Drobka, Erin and John Asplund, Madeline, Natalie and Phillip Wedge, and Rachel and Paige Steppe. Great-grandfather of Sydney, Hannah, and Miles Lindemeyer and Denton Castillo. Further survived by his brothers Robert (Deanna) and Allan Drobka, and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Adolph and Josephine Drobka; brother, Edwin (Bernice); sister, Florence (Robert) Johnston and sisters and brothers-in-law Sylvia Drobka, William(Agnes), Milton (Edna), Glenn (Emily), Harold (Dottie), and Joe (Ruth) Kaufmann and Paul (Millie) Fischel. Memorial Visitation at CLEMENT MANOR CHAPEL-3939 South 92nd St. on SATURDAY, April 5, 2014 from 9:30-10:30AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Private inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Adolph proudly served his country as a member of the Air Force in WWII. He graduated as a Chemical Engineer from UW Madison and worked for Patrick Cudahy for 37 years. He belonged to many organizations including Christian Family Movement, AmVets Post #60, and as an Usher at St. Veronica Church for many years. In lieu of flowers donations to Clement Manor or St. Veronica Church appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff at Clement Manor for their compassionate care.
