Passed away on December 22, 2010, in Leesbburg, FL at the age of 81 years old. Joan was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 17, 1929 and resided there until the mid 1980's. In Milwaukee, she worked at "Living Church Magazine Publishing" and also at the "Variety Club of Milwaukee". She then moved to Leesburg, FL where she resided with her father Erben Kolbow at "Mid Florida Lakes" senior community. Joan loved NASCAR, bingo, teddy bears and talking about her memories growing up in WI. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Erben and Gertrude Kolbow (nee Graphinthin). Burial for Joan will be in Milwaukee, WI. Interment THURS. Jan. 6, 2011, 1:30 P.M. at Arlington Park Cemetery, 4001 So. 27th St. Please meet at the cemetery entrance at 1:15 P.M.
