Grace was a born and raised "East Sider," having been a member of St. Rita Parish there. In her teen years she attended and graduated Lincoln High School, where she was christened Homecoming Queen. She married Philip Giuffre in 1955, and settled on the Northwest side of Milwaukee, where she and Philip started a family. Grace was an active member of St. Bernadette Parish, and had many memorable seasons with her family and extended family on Columbus Lake. Family was a very important part of Grace's life. She spent hours on the phone staying in touch with her sisters, arranging parties, listening to music and passing time in the company of others. Grace was proud of her 28 years at MPS' William George Bruce School, working in food services providing nourishment and full bellies to generations of children. After she retired, she moved to Nashotah to be closer to family. In those years it was rare to see Grace without a dog by her side. She lived her final years at Azura Memory Care in Oconomowoc.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Grace's name may be made for Mass intentions. Grace's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Azura Memory Care in Oconomowoc and St. Croix Hospice.
